March 24, 2022 — LATICRETE International, Inc., a global supplier of tile and stone installation materials and construction chemicals announced the opening of its factory in Nairobi, Kenya. This is the first factory and office location for LATICRETE on the continent of Africa.
The plant inauguration and ribbing cutting ceremony was attended by the President & COO International, Faisal Saleem, Managing Director Middle-East & Africa, Ritesh Singh, Director Sales & Marketing, Africa Joseph Dacosta. Also in attendance, was Mr. Ndongo Dieng Ambassador of Senegal to Kenya, members of Kenya construction industry and industry partners.
Addressing the gathering Faisal Saleem shared LATICRETE’s vision for the African market “the continent of Africa is our area of investment and growth in the coming years, our goal is to provide innovative, sustainable, long lasting and maintenance free tile & stone installation solutions to Kenya and rest of Africa” additionally, he reminded attendees of LATICRETE’s purpose “To improve the built world and the lives of those who build it.”
Ritesh Singh echoed sentiments expressed by Mr. Saleem and affirmed his commitment for generating employment locally and partnering with every segment of society i.e. Builders, Developers, Architects, Consultant, Applicators/Masons and end consumers.
